Sales Engineer

Job description

What will you be doing? 

You work closely with a team of sales professionals as well as your co-sales engineers to provide technical product knowledge and support during and after the sales process. You are a trusted advisor for both internal and external stakeholders and own all of the technical aspects of the pre-sales process as well as the technical aspects of solution proposals to clients.

Activities include setting up technical solutions in the legal space, building custom proof of concepts, leading product demos and presentations, providing technical input into customer expectations for their use cases.


Additionally you will function as a proxy between our prospective clients and the product team. Providing them with input on the latest market trends and requirements.


You will succeed if you
  • Can explain both technical and non-technical audiences of senior stakeholders of (complex) technical solutions;
  • Can build and present pragmatic and practical technical solution(s) in a time crunch;
  • Are committed to exceed client expectations by 'wowing' them with your technical powers;
  • Continuously keep track of new technologies and developments;
  • Are able to translate the complex wishes of customers into a technical framework.

Job requirements

What are we looking for

  • Minimum 3 years experience in working with and/or implementing web technologies;

  • Outstanding problem solving ability, eagerness to learn and curiosity;

  • Adaptable attitude and personality that is ready for continuous change;

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Dutch and English;

  • Client facing experience and commercial sense;

  • Knowledge in the LegalTech space is a big plus.


You should bring some technical knowhow as well....

  • Web technologies like Javascript, React and HTML/CSS;
  • Integrations through API’s (Rest, GraphQL, XML);
  • System Architecture;
  • Relational databases.
