Sales Development Representatives & Account Executives

At Betty Blocks, the sales process is guided by the typical SaaS sales methodology. The initial phase of the process is handled by Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who source interesting leads and qualify them to meet the company's standards. Then, the Account Executive (AE) takes over and is responsible for closing the deal. There is close collaboration between SDRs and AEs in deciding target companies and strategies.

At Betty Blocks, the focus has shifted towards the legal market since the beginning of 2022. All outreach efforts made by the sales representatives are now focused exclusively on this market vertical.



Inbound Marketing and Customer Success

The Inbound Marketing team at Betty Blocks supports the sales team in finding leads and works closely with the Strategy department to create new sales campaigns.

After a customer has been using Betty Blocks for a year, the Customer Success Managers step in to help the customer fully adopt the platform. Their mission is to ensure the customer's success with the product.

Revenue Operations & Solution Engineers

Revenue Operations at Betty Blocks is responsible for supporting the sales team with analytics and content. They help in providing the necessary resources for the sales team to effectively reach out to prospects and close deals. Additionally, they may also be involved in areas such as lead generation, market research, and product strategy.

The Solution Engineering team at Betty Blocks provides support to the sales team when technical situations arise. They can build demos or MVPs to demonstrate the capabilities of the Betty Blocks platform and translate customer expectations into concrete solutions.

Channel Sales

The Channel Sales team at Betty Blocks is responsible for connecting and building relationships with partners. These partners are other software companies that use the Betty Blocks platform to build applications for their clients. The Channel Sales team is responsible for ensuring that the partners adopt the platform, train their developers, and know how to effectively market the platform. They work with an international partner network in countries such as the US, India, and Japan. The goal of the Channel Sales team is to support and grow the partner network to increase the reach and impact of the Betty Blocks platform.

At Betty Blocks, we value our employees and culture and provide opportunities for growth within the company. Yoeri started as an intern in 2018 and after completing his studies, was offered a job as a Business Development Representative. He quickly grew into a Manager of the international Inside Sales team by consistently demonstrating a willingness to help colleagues and coach them.

Another great example of the career opportunities at this fast-growing company is Jordi.

A colleague who came on board about two years ago. 'Coming from a background different from software development, I never expected to end up in my current role as Business Development Representative. But after my first conversation at our HQ in Alkmaar, I thought it might be interesting to dive into the organization and the entire no/low-code market. By the end of 2021, I will celebrate my second anniversary with the company. I am still enjoying the conversations with new contact persons, the collaboration with our team, and most importantly, in my role, finding the right opportunities as a foundation for a solid partnership in the future.

What Yoeri and Jordi like best? 

For Jordi, it's the international and ambitious nature of the organization: 'Instead of getting in touch and pitching a standard solution, we are building a relationship with our contact persons. Get a solid understanding of their current situation first, before we discover how Betty Blocks can be of added value on a strategic level. That strategic focus, in combination with the international focus and character of my role, is what I like best about working at Betty Blocks. Besides, being part of an ambitious journey like ours isn't too bad either! 

Yoeri adds: My time at Betty Blocks has always been enjoyable thanks to all the smart and friendly colleagues that share the same ambitions towards our global domination goal. I like that we get to conduct business on an international scale and meet new colleagues in different regions like the US & India by using our extensive partner network.
